Giving Feedback

The feedback feature allows anyone viewing an active page to rate it with a thumbs up or thumbs down. It is intended to help authors understand whether content is useful. Requires enableFeedback to be enabled. No login is required to submit feedback.

Submitting feedback

At the bottom of any active page, click the thumbs up or thumbs down button. Optionally add a short comment (up to 2000 characters) before submitting. Feedback without a comment is approved automatically. Feedback with a comment is held for moderation.

Rate limiting

Each IP address can submit one feedback entry per page per hour. Subsequent attempts within the hour are rejected.

Feedback counters

The total thumbs up and thumbs down counts are shown above the feedback buttons. These counts update after each approved submission.

Moderation

Feedback comments require Admin approval before they are counted. Admins can review pending feedback via the Dashboard. Each entry can be approved or rejected. See Dashboard & Quality Report.

Feedback is controlled by enableFeedback in config/app.php. See Application Settings.
