Managing Tags

Tags are short labels assigned to pages. They serve two purposes: grouping related pages together and powering the Related Pages widget shown at the bottom of each page.

Adding tags to a page

Open a page in the editor. In the Tags field, enter a comma-separated list of tags (e.g. onboarding, hr, policy). Tags are converted to lowercase automatically. Click Save. Tags take effect immediately — the Related Pages widget updates the next time a page with matching tags is viewed.

How related pages work

When viewing a page, Guidevera looks for other active pages that share one or more tags with the current page. Up to 5 related pages are shown, ordered by the number of shared tags. Pages with more tags in common appear first.

Tags and Smart Links

Tags are also used by the Smart Links feature to suggest relevant pages when creating internal links in the editor.

Tag management

Tags can be edited at any time by opening the page in the editor and updating the Tags field. Removing all tags from a page removes it from all related pages suggestions. There is no central tag manager — tags are managed per page.
