Subscribing to Pages

Subscribing to a page means you receive an email notification whenever that page is saved. This is useful for staying up to date with pages that are important to your work. Requires enableSubscriptions to be enabled. Requires a logged-in account.

Subscribing and unsubscribing

Open any page while logged in. Click the Subscribe button (bell icon) in the page toolbar or the comments area. Clicking it again unsubscribes you. The button shows your current subscription state.

What triggers a notification

A notification is sent to all subscribers each time the page is saved by any user. The notification email includes the page title and a link to the page.

Managing your subscriptions

There is no central subscription list view. To unsubscribe from a page, navigate to that page and click the Subscribe button again to toggle it off.

Enabling subscriptions

Subscriptions are controlled by enableSubscriptions in config/app.php. Notifications require a valid notifyEmail address to be configured. See Application Settings.
